NORCAS Charity team raises £1,200 for David McNally's ' Too Much Too Young' Appeal

While David McNally, (CEO, Norwich City Football Club), may be prepared to give blood, sweat, and tears during his forthcoming London Marathon run on 17th April, his chosen charity NORCAS did their little bit to help when team members, friends and family, partook of a bit of good old fashioned bucket rattling outside Carrow Road before the Norwich v Scunthorpe game on Saturday (2nd April).

Two and a half hours of stead-fast collecting ‘netted’ over £1,200 for the ‘ Too Much Too Young’ appeal which aims to provide specialist workers to support young people who are caring for adults in their family with drink, drug, and gambling issues.

David will undoubtedly be pleased with the results both on and off the pitch as his Canaries also ‘netted’ 6 goals to beat Scunthorpe and remain on schedule for automatic promotion.

David’s objective is to raise £10,000 directly from his marathon run, and the NORCAS collection certainly represents a significant contribution!

Many thanks to all the ‘bucketeers’, and all those who supported NORCAS with donations on the day.
